As co-interim chief medical officer, Thomas Mannino, MD, shares the responsibility for the quality and delivery of care at Peconic Bay Medical Center. Dr. Mannino is also chief of radiology at the community hospital.

Dr. Mannino, board certified in radiology and nuclear medicine, has 20 years of radiology experience, joining Northwell Health as a radiologist in 1996. He is an instructor at Northwell’s Center for Learning and Innovation and is a founding board member of the Cold Spring Harbor Education Foundation. 

Previously, he Dr. Mannnino served as chair of radiology and associate chief medical officer at Glen Cove Hospital. He was also medical director at Imaging at Glen Cove from 2006-2014 and chair of radiology at Long Island Jewish Forest Hills in 2014. 

Dr. Mannino received his MD from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. He completed his residency training in radiology at Stony Brook University Hospital and a fellowship in nuclear medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. He also received a master’s in health care delivery science from the Tuck School of Business and the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.
