Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Plainview Hospital

Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Plainview Hospital

About us

Plainview Hospital offers a one-year fellowship training program in sports medicine for osteopathic medicine physicians. To apply for this program, applicants must have completed a family medicine, internal medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, emergency medicine or pediatric medicine residency program that is AOA-approved.

Just minutes from New York City, the sports medicine fellowship program at Plainview Hospital offers trainees exposure to high level athletes of multiple sports disciplines, regular training and exposure to highly specialized procedures like ultrasound guided injections.

Students not only learn the science behind sports medicine, but also experience the “real world” environment of running a sports medicine practice, including billing and office maintenance.
