Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Northwell Health
Northwell Health offers a two-year independent fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. This certified program is designed to expose the physician in training with extensive experience in both the outpatient and inpatient surgical management of gynecologic disorders using the full arsenal of minimally invasive techniques. The physicians within the Division of Gynecology have been leaders in the field of advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery for nearly two decades and established one of the first robotic gyn surgery programs in the region.
The fellow are integrated into the resident teaching schedule including both didactic and simulation training offered in the laparoscopic training facility. The fellow also serve as faculty in training programs presented at the Bioskills Surgical Training Center, Northwell Health's surgical education institute. In addition, the fellow will be provided ample time to complete required research endeavors and have the opportunity to take graduate level courses at the Elmezzi Graduate School of Molecular Medicine.
