We are leaders in pancreatic care
Our world-renowned, multidisciplinary experts work together to provide leading-edge diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of conditions.

Who we are

In order to provide patients with seamless care, the Pancreas Disease Center brings together top specialists from about a dozen disciplines throughout Northwell Health. Our multidisciplinary team includes internationally recognized experts in pancreatic diseases, who were recruited from some of the finest institutions around the country. We work together to provide a thorough and accurate diagnosis in order to decide on the best treatment approach for each patient—whether that be surveillance, surgery or anything in between.

And we’re not just bringing our patients the latest advancements in the field—we’re creating them. Our team members lead global conferences and write critical scientific literature that helps define the ever-evolving guidelines in our field. We boast innovative research and clinical trials, working hand-in-hand with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory to bring our patients the most leading-edge treatments available.

The new center's multidisciplinary team provides hope for thousands, including Toni Fabric, a 50-year-old Long Island native battling the historically fatal disease.

We’re proud to be the presenting sponsor for several Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Research Walks, including Long Island on Sunday, October 6. Please join us in supporting this great cause.

Why choose us

Always thinking about the patient, our caring team understands you may feel scared or lost if you’re diagnosed with a pancreas condition. We employ a dedicated nurse practitioner navigator, who helps each and every patient map out their entire care plan. From initial consult to treatment and follow-up care, our navigator will make your journey with us as easy and streamlined as possible.

In order to provide lasting, meaningful support, we have established several patient-centered groups, such as post operative groups and survivor groups. Many of our past patients volunteer with us, lending support to current patients going through various procedures. If you were referred to us from another doctor, we’ll be sure to communicate with them throughout your time with us, in order to ensure seamless after care.

National Pancreatic Foundation

We’re proud to be a designated National Pancreatic Foundation (NPF) Center. NPF Centers are at premier healthcare facilities that focus on multidisciplinary treatment of pancreas disease, treating the whole patient with a focus on the best possible outcomes and an improved quality of life. These centers facilitate the development of high-quality, collaborative care approaches for the field.
