Who we are
In order to provide patients with seamless care, the Pancreas Disease Center brings together top specialists from about a dozen disciplines throughout Northwell Health. Our multidisciplinary team includes internationally recognized experts in pancreatic diseases, who were recruited from some of the finest institutions around the country. We work together to provide a thorough and accurate diagnosis in order to decide on the best treatment approach for each patient—whether that be surveillance, surgery or anything in between.
And we’re not just bringing our patients the latest advancements in the field—we’re creating them. Our team members lead global conferences and write critical scientific literature that helps define the ever-evolving guidelines in our field. We boast innovative research and clinical trials, working hand-in-hand with Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory to bring our patients the most leading-edge treatments available.
Why choose us
Always thinking about the patient, our caring team understands you may feel scared or lost if you’re diagnosed with a pancreas condition. We employ a dedicated nurse practitioner navigator, who helps each and every patient map out their entire care plan. From initial consult to treatment and follow-up care, our navigator will make your journey with us as easy and streamlined as possible.
In order to provide lasting, meaningful support, we have established several patient-centered groups, such as post operative groups and survivor groups. Many of our past patients volunteer with us, lending support to current patients going through various procedures. If you were referred to us from another doctor, we’ll be sure to communicate with them throughout your time with us, in order to ensure seamless after care.
