Southside Hospital has named Michael Nett, MD, chair of its orthopedics program.
An American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Nett has been caring for patients at Southside Hospital for 10 years. He is an assistant professor at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell and a member of the Northwell Health Physician Partners Orthopaedic Institute.
Dr. Nett completed his medical education at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, his residency at the Mayo Clinic and his fellowship in hip and knee replacements at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan.
“Dr. Nett has been providing excellent orthopedic and total joint care for his patients and his leadership will further enhance Southside’s program,” said Donna Moravick, NP, executive director of Southside Hospital.
