Subaru raises $112K for Cohen Children's pediatric cancer research

Grand Prix Subaru recently selected Northwell Health's Cohen Children's Medical Center as its Hometown Charity of Choice as part of Subaru's Love Promise and annual Share the Love event. The dealership, part of Long Island and Queens' VIP Auto Group, presented Cohen Children's with a 2018 donation of $112,412.83 to benefit pediatric cancer research.

Brian Lally, Northwell's senior vice president and chief development officer said, "Subaru's steadfast commitment to its community is a value we admire and share, and we are honored for Cohen Children's Medical Center to be Grand Prix Subaru's Hometown Charity of Choice. Grand Prix Subaru's support is helping to change the lives of children and families, as we work towards improved prevention, better treatments, and, ultimately, cures for childhood cancer."

Since 2014, Grand Prix Subaru has raised $339,010.40 to support Northwell's children's hospital. "Cohen Children's Medical Center was an ideal recipient due to our shared vision of improving the world and the lives of the people in it," said Daniel Ross, Grand Prix Subaru's general manager. "It's a privilege to partner with a health system that is shaping the future of health care. We look forward to a continued partnership with Cohen Children's Medical Center and supporting the exceptional work throughout Northwell Health."
