Northwell Health has added three obstetrician/gynecologists in Suffolk County, bolstering its health care services in the region.
Jonathan Gillen-Goldstein, MD, has been named the vice chair of the ob/gyn department at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. Dr. Gillen-Goldstein is board certified in ob/gyn by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as in maternal fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Maternal & Fetal Medicine. He completed a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Gillen-Goldstein is a graduate of SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and has offices in Bay Shore and Mineola. He is credentialed at Southside Hospital, Huntington Hospital and North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) in Manhasset.
Also practicing in Bay Shore and Mineola is David Bergman, MD, who is board certified in maternal fetal medicine by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Maternal & Fetal Medicine as well as in ob/gyn by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Bergman is a graduate of the Universidad Autonoma of Guadalajara and can see patients at Huntington Hospital, Southside, LIJ Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NSUH and Plainview Hospital.
Nithya Gopal, MD, is offering ob/gyn care at 3001 Expressway Drive North in Islandia and at Southside. She completed her residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center - Downtown Campus and is a graduate of the Ross University School of Medicine.
