Lauren Yedvab, MHA, Appointed Deputy Executive Director of Lenox Hill Hospital


Lauren Yedvab, MHA, has been named Deputy Executive Director of Lenox Hill Hospital effective July 2017. As a member of the senior leadership team, Ms. Yedvab will be responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of Lenox Hill and providing strategic direction in alignment with the hospital's mission, goals and values. In addition, she will spearhead the efforts for the hospital-wide performance improvement program.

Most recently, Ms. Yedvab served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital where she was responsible for strategic and operational leadership, management of patient care service operations, physician alignment initiatives, service line development and growth, as well as IT strategy and implementation. She had been with the hospital for 23 years, starting as an administrative fellow and subsequently serving in various operational roles of progressive responsibility.

Ms. Yedvab is affiliated with numerous prestigious professional organizations, including American College of Healthcare Executives, Health Leaders of New York, and Health Financial Management Association. She is a board member of the Sloan Alumni Association Board of Cornell University. In addition, she was previously named one of "40 Under 40 Rising Stars" by Crain's New York Business and one of the "Up & Comers" by Modern Healthcare.

Ms. Yedvab earned her undergraduate degree in economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta and received her Master of Health Administration degree from Cornell University.
