Delivering the highest quality care

As one of the New York metropolitan area’s largest providers of neurologic care, the Northwell Health Institute for Neurology and Neurosurgery offers a vast range of clinical and research expertise to diagnose and treat patients with neurologic conditions. Our breadth and depth of expertise enables us to provide a multidisciplinary approach to both common disorders and rare diseases including brain aneurysms, brain tumors, traumatic brain injury, migraines, epilepsy, movement disorders, Alzheimer’s disease, spinal disorders, Moyamoya disease and Huntington’s disease.

A robust research portfolio

In conjunction with the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, we provide our patients with access to clinical trials, putting us on the forefront of innovation. We are currently conducting studies on brain tumors, spinal injuries, spinal disc regeneration, movement disorders, traumatic brain injury, among many others.

Educating the leaders of tomorrow

In collaboration with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, and through our residency and fellowship programs, we train and develop future clinicians and scientists. We offer physicians and clinicians ongoing education through our weekly conferences and also hold numerous annual conferences on brain tumors, spine and cerebrovascular, among other topics. We also provide ongoing education and support to the communities we serve through support groups, community events and educational forums.
