You put your heart into everything
So keep it beating strong. It’s never too early or too late to start your heart health journey. Learn simple things you can do to lower your heart disease risk at community health events including educational lectures, screenings, yoga and more.

What is Go Red?

Go Red for Women is a national movement by the American Heart Association (AHA) to end heart disease and stroke in women. The Katz Institute for Women’s Health partners with the AHA to raise awareness and empower women with knowledge on the prevention, recognition and treatment of cardiovascular disease, including stroke.  Since the inception of Go Red for Women, more than 670,000 women have been saved from heart disease, and 300 fewer are dying per day.

Community events such as health screenings and fairs, yoga classes, book signings and farmer's markets are all happening in February in celebration of American Heart Month. Come join us! Learn how we can keep your heart healthy—together.

And don't forget to show your support for women and heart disease by wearing your favorite red pieces! National Wear Red Day is February 2, 2018.
