You put your heart into everything
So keep it beating strong—get started on your heart health journey. Join us at one of our community health events this month to learn simple things you can do to lower your risk for heart disease.

What is Go Red?

Go Red for Women is a national movement by the American Heart Association (AHA) to end heart disease and stroke in women. The Katz Institute for Women’s Health partners with the AHA to raise awareness and empower women with knowledge on the prevention, recognition and treatment of cardiovascular disease, including stroke.

Community events such as health screenings and fairs, educational lectures, cooking classes and guided meditation are all happening in February in celebration of American Heart Month. Come join us!

And don't forget to show your support for women and heart disease on National Wear Red Day by wearing your favorite red pieces on Friday, February 1, 2019.

Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of both men and women in the United States. Take our five-minute health risk assessment to find out your own risk. It's the first step to a healthier heart!

Take our heart HRA

Join us as we discuss heart disease and its risk factors as well as steps you can take to get on the road to heart health. Seminar will be followed by a Tibetan Bowl meditation with Tina Conroy.
