How do I verify my identity?

We’ve partnered with industry-leading firm Experian. Experian pulls information from multiple databases to generate a series of prompts and questions that are specific to you and your credit history. Completing this verification process will not affect your credit history, credit report, and credit score. You can also call us at (888) 321-DOCS and we can verify your identity over the phone.

You must be 18 years old or older, though we are considering support for younger patients in the future.

We are sorry we are having trouble confirming your email address. The most likely cause is that our email is ending up in your spam folder.

We are sorry that we can’t verify your identity. There are a number of reasons this may be happening. They range from a freeze on your credit report to too many unsuccessful attempts to verify.

Why do I need to verify my identity?

We want to ensure that you have a secure experience. We ask you to verify your identity (also known as proofing) so that we can make sure you are who you say you are. If you're an existing patient, verifying your identity will allow us to link your profile to your existing billing and medical information in our system.

How do I change my email address?

If you'd like to change the email address associated with your account, please call (888) 321-DOCS and someone will help you.

How do I change my password?

To change your password, you should go into your account settings and select a new password that is different than your previous seven passwords. It must be eight characters or longer and contain one of each: uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, and a special character.

How do I change or correct information that is part of my legal identity in my Northwell Health online account?

Once you verify your identity, the information you provided in the legal identity section of your profile is locked. To update or make changes to this information, you’ll need to visit your provider’s office and provide official documentation supporting the change, such as a birth certificate, license or marriage certificate.

We’re sorry, it is not possible for you to create and manage an account other than your own at this time. There can only be one person associated with your email address.
