Guillermo Restrepo, PA-C, is a senior physician assistant in the Department of Neurosurgery at Lenox Hill Hospital. He has been working at Lenox Hill for two years and for Northwell Health for 12 years. Guilermo completed a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Touro College. He is also proud to be a member of a neuroscience team that is always striving for improvement and advancement. Guillermo works closely with other care providers to provide our patients with the best care possible in their time of need. His contribution to patient care is to help facilitate, help educate, and help patients get well. In addition, he is in charge of preparing and presenting neuroendovascular case conferences for LHH care providers.
Guillermo’s specific area of expertise is neuroendovascular surgery. Along with the physician, he cares for patients afflicted with vascular lesions of the brain and spinal cord. They treat conditions such as brain aneurysm, dural and brain arteriovenous malformations, endovascular tumor embolizations, endovascular intra-arterial chemo infusion, treatment of carotid disease as well as other conditions. In addition, Guillermo has been listed as co-author in JNS for “Latrogenic dural arteriovenous fistula and aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage” and in and Endovascular Today for “Embolization of an External Carotid Artery Mycotic Aneurysm”.
