Cardiovascular Services at Northwell Health is hosting its first case-based debate workshop to discuss controversies in coronary, structural, and renal denervation. The goal of this two-day conference is to promote high quality, patient-centered, clinical and technical decision-making in the field of Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine.
Upon completion of this CME activity, participants should be able to:
- Evaluate new treatments and technologies in interventional cardiology and incorporate into practice to optimize patient outcomes.
- Learn clinical and cath lab based technical tips and tricks to improve procedural success.
- Summarize recent clinical trials and research pertaining to interventional cardiology that have revolutionized pharmacologic and mechanical therapies.
- Incorporate updated SCAI and ACC guidelines into the care of patients requiring invasive cardiac procedures.

The conference has been designed to meet the educational needs of interventional cardiologists, interventional cardiology fellows, catheterization lab nurses and technicians, as well as other medical professionals who care for patients undergoing catheter-based cardiovascular interventions.
