Audiogram

Skull base brain tumors can affect hearing, so your doctor might want you to have an audiogram, or a hearing test, before and after treatment. This will give you and your medical team a baseline (results that can be compared with later) for your hearing and will help with assessment after any treatment.

During an audiogram, you will be asked to wear special headphones and work with the team to tell them what you are able to hear at different volume settings.
