Percutaneous vertebral augmentation (PVA)

Percutaneous vertebral augmentation (PVA) is a technique to provide pain management and stabilization in patients with severe back pain, typically due to vertical compression. The procedure involves utilizing balloons to create a void in the collapsed part of the vertebra and then injecting material, like bone cement, into the space to create an internal case to stabilize the region.
