Supratrochlear Blocks

The supratrochlear nerve is a branch of the frontal nerve above your eye. If you are experiencing a specific type of headache pain, and that pain is ongoing, your doctor my recommend a supratrochlear block to reduce your pain.

Your doctor will use a very small needle to inject medicine and/or steroids in and around the area of these nerves in order to block the nerves and reduce or eliminate the pain you are feeling. This is a relatively short outpatient procedure, and the side effects are minimal. The treatment is designed to minimize
