Scar tissue from previous spinal surgeries, or from injuries, can sometimes cause a great deal of spinal pain. If you are experiencing this type of pain, the staff at the Spine Center can help work with you to find the right treatment.
Your doctor will want to evaluate you and understand exactly what is causing your pain, and may recommend an epiduroscopy in order to see and remove the tissue that’s bothering you.
During an epiduroscopy, you will receive a local anesthetic, and your doctor will insert a small endoscope (a flexible tube with a light and camera) into the spinal canal to remove scar tissue and take painful pressure off nerves. This is an outpatient procedure, and you will be able to recover at home.
