Cerebral Vasculitis

Cerebral vasculitis or central nervous system vasculitis is an inflammation of the vascular system within the cerebrum. This condition causes a narrowing or blockage of the blood vessels that supply the brain and spinal cord.

Symptoms of cerebral vasculitis include headache, fever, rapid weight loss, confusion and forgetfulness. Advanced treatment for cerebral vasculitis is offered at the Stroke Center.
