We are committed to educating and training emerging medical professionals in the art of perfecting life-changing surgical procedures; that’s why we offer a two-year independent fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. For nearly two decades, the physicians within our Division of Gynecology have been forerunners in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, and also established and developed one of the first robotic gynecologic surgery programs in the region. Our certified program aims to provide young clinicians with firsthand experience in both outpatient and inpatient surgical management of gynecologic conditions using minimally invasive techniques.
Our young professionals have the opportunity to serve as faculty in training programs presented at the Bioskills Education Center, our surgical education institute. In addition, our physicians in training have time to complete required research initiatives and the opportunity to take graduate-level courses at the Elmezzi Graduate School of Molecular Medicine.
Northwell Health physicians are dedicated to sharpening their skills in robotic and minimally invasive procedures for gynecologic conditions. We remain active in research in clinical trials so we can continue to establish ourselves as leaders in these cutting-edge surgical techniques.
The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is the epicenter of our creative collaboration. Our multidisciplinary team focuses on the studies and research that will lead to groundbreaking cures and treatments. We go above and beyond to uncover and support trailblazing discoveries that improve the treatment of a wide
-range of gynecologic conditions.
