Overview

The Division of Infectious Disease offers comprehensive care to patients with acute or chronic infections and is a leader in infectious disease control and graduate medical education.  Our HIV treatment center is a premier facility on Long Island.

With the number of resistant infections increasing around the globe, our division is prepared to offer a spectrum of services and information. Our doctors come from a variety of specializations. Their expertise provides infectious disease education to a wide range of healthcare workers. They also participate in many research projects, from which our division integrates new findings. In addition, we operate an onsite pharmacy dedicated to infectious diseases, as well as infection control programs for many of our health system hospitals.
