Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry is the process of adding a substance, such as a dye or antibody, to a tissue sample to determine the specific type of cancer. This test and flow cytometry are used on blood, bone marrow or other tissue samples for immunophenotyping, which can be used to make a diagnosis of the type of lymphoma or leukemia.
