Dermatology Residency Program
Over the three year period of training, our trainees are exposed to general and specialty medical dermatology for all age groups, procedural dermatology and dermatopathology via a patient base comprised of diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds and dermatologic disease burden. Our full-time faculty provide expert instruction in virtually all subspecialty areas within dermatology.

Medical Student Elective
The dermatology elective provides students with the opportunity to develop fundamental clinical skills in the evaluation and management of patients with diseases of the integument. This is primarily an ambulatory experience in which students will participate in general and subspecialty dermatology clinics. Students will also have frequent exposures to acute presentations on the dermatology consultative service. Clinical training will be supported by a self-directed problem based curriculum in dermatology.

At the moment, our training efforts are focused on the residency program and the undergraduate medical curriculum. In the coming 2-3 years, the department also aims to support accredited fellowship training programs in pediatric dermatology, procedural dermatology and dermatopathology. Please check back periodically for updates on our fellowship training programs.
