The Eating Disorders Center (EDC) is a a nationally recognized program for the treatment of children, adolescents and young adults with anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder and other food related disorders.

Enteral access is used to feed a child when they are unable to eat on their own, and vascular access is used to deliver intravenous (IV) therapy to a child on a continuous basis. Our pediatric surgeons are experts at both of these important procedures.

We are true trailblazers in the area of providing extracorporeal life support for babies and children; we're the first ECMO center on Long Island, and the second oldest center in New York state.
