Our team of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, respiratory therapists and other healthcare professionals work to ensure our patients are well informed and prepared, before and after surgery.

Why choose us?

Team approach – We work with specialists throughout the health system to ensure patients are getting the care they need for all their health concerns. The thoracic surgeons at Plainview participate on the hospital’s cancer committee to discuss cases across different specialties. We also work closely with critical care specialists to ensure patients are monitored around-the-clock and receive care when they need it.

Cutting-edge treatment  All of our thoracic surgeons are trained inminimally invasive techniques, including robotic surgery, video-assisted thoracic surgery, endoscopy and laparoscopy. In addition, our team is actively engaged in ground-breaking research to develop new surgical treatment modalities to reduce pain, recovery time, and to improve patient outcomes.

Advanced research  Medicine is propelled forward by research. Our surgeons serve as clinical researchers at the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.
