Dr. Mariana Marcu is Board Certified in Allergy and Immunology as well as Internal Medicine with more than 8 years of clinical experience.
Dr. Marcu is a FELLOW of The American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI) and is also affiliated with the New York City Allergy Society. She completed a two-year Allergy & Immunology Fellowship at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System at Schneider Children's Hospital. Her residency was completed at the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens and for an additional year was chosen to be Chief Medical Resident.
Dr. Marcu is known for her devotion and pleasant bedside manner. Described as "A friend patients can trust" Marcu is genuinely concerned about her patients and tries to accommodate them whenever possible. Residing in New York City with her husband 10-year-old daughter and cocker spaniel Maggie when she's not seeing patients she enjoys spending time with her family listening to jazz music and reading.
