Since 1983, Dr. Hammerman has been practicing internal medicine and gastroenterology for adults. In-office services include primary medical care, gastroenterology, liver diseases, and endoscopy of the esophagus, stomach, duodenum and the colon. Patients are self-referred or referred by other physicians. The office is modern, clean, and organized. The patient's care and medical records are kept strictly private.

Dr. Hammerman directly provides all the medical care; there is no physician assistant or nurse practitioner. Visits are by appointment, with adequate time allowed for a thorough assessment, explanations, and treatment. Patients are encouraged to arrive on time, with defined concerns, questions, and, if applicable, related medical records. Dr. Hammerman also prefers to be on time; his care is individualized to the patient's specific circumstances and needs, and avoids unnecessary testing or treatments.

In summary, the entire experience is aimed at being comprehensive, concerned, and correct -the type of care anyone would want for themselves or those close to them.
