Dr. Jeanine Daly is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and a Founding Faculty member in the newly established Department of Dermatology in the North Shore LIJ Health System. She is board certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. She is also board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Daly graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Virginia. She attended New York University Medical School, where she graduated in the top of her class and was elected into membership of the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. Following medical school, Dr. Daly completed medical training in Internal Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center and in Dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she also served as chief resident.

Prior to joining the full time academic faculty at North Shore LIJ, Dr. Daly was a faculty member in the NYU Department of Dermatology. She taught resident physicians from both the NYU and SUNY Downstate at the New York Harbor Veterans' Affairs Hospitals. She also had a busy private practice in New Jersey. She practices all aspects of medical and cosmetic dermatology. She has a special interest in acne/rosacea, contact dermatitis, skin cancer, and cosmetics. Dr. Daly spent 5 years working at one of New Jersey's premier laser centers. She has extensive experience in laser treatments including those for rosacea, hair removal, sun-damaged skin, and resurfacing techniques. She was also the chief dermatologist overseeing the injectable filler program for lipoatrophy at the Brooklyn Veterans' Affairs Hospital.

Dr. Daly has written numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Medical Association. She has a passion for educating medical students and residents, and she has won the NYU teaching attending of the year award. In addition, she has been the dermatologic consultant on such films as the Academy Award nominated Black Swan.
