Neck and Shoulder Pain
If you’re experiencing neck and shoulder pain, you know firsthand how it can impact your day-to-day activities.
For some, the pain is limited just to the neck or the shoulder, and others experience pain in both areas. The most common cause of neck pain is muscle strain. However, it can also be the result of bone or joint abnormalities, poor posture, degenerative diseases or tumors.
Because of the large range of movement, the shoulder is more susceptible to injury than other parts of the body. Shoulder pain can be caused by one or more of the following conditions:
- Strain from overexertion
- Joint instability
- Pinched nerves
- “Frozen” shoulder
