Since 1998, Donna Kube, RN, has worked in progressive roles with increasing responsibility throughout Northwell Health. Currently, she serves as associate executive director of patient care services at Broadlawn Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, where she assists with daily operations.
Among her many achievements at Broadlawn Manor, Ms. Kube effectively implemented two new facility clinical capabilities — caring for tracheotomy patients, and patients on patient-controlled analgesia. She also successfully enhanced the short- and long-term nursing and rehabilitation patient and resident experience and quality of care.
Prior to Broadlawn Manor, Ms. Kube was associate executive director for patient care services at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. She has held numerous leadership positions at Plainview Hospital, including director of clinical services and nurse manager of the Intensive Care Unit and Progressive Care Unit, where she successfully deployed several IHI (Institute for Healthcare Improvement) initiatives that improved the patient experience and nursing quality.
Ms. Kube was a member of Northwell’s High Potential Development Program and she’s affiliated with LeadingAge New York. She is a certified INTERACT (Interventions to Reduce Acute Care Transfers) champion.
Ms. Kube has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Adelphi University and a master’s in health care administration from LIU Post. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in nursing practice at Case Western Reserve University.
