Pinpoint accuracy for better results

CyberKnife is a robotic radiation delivery system that attacks tumors or lesions with high doses of radiation, from virtually any direction or angle, with submillimeter accuracy.

About CyberKnife® radiosurgery

CyberKnife is a highly precise and painless alternative to surgery and traditional radiation therapy. It can be used to treat prostate cancer, lung cancer, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, spinal tumors and brain tumors, as well as trigeminal neuralgia and arteriovenous malformations.

CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery does not surgically remove the tumor or lesions, but instead, uses high doses of focused radiation to destroy tumor cells.

Benefits of CyberKnife treatment

CyberKnife continuously and automatically tracks the tumor and your position, including the movement of your breathing. This information guides and positions radiation beams to precisely target the tumor and spare the surrounding healthy tissue.

CyberKnife treatments require no recovery time and have fewer complications than traditional surgery. You can go home or back to normal activities the very same day. Treatment is usually completed in under a week, in one to five office visits, depending on your specific situation.

CyberKnife outcomes

The CyberKnife system is based on external beam radiation technology that has been used for decades and is proven to be effective. There have been many clinical studies on CyberKnife published in medical journals, and thousands of patients have received CyberKnife treatment worldwide.
