Vaccinating our communities
The team at Northwell is encouraged by the large numbers of our community members who are eager to receive the vaccine. As we await new vaccine deliveries, we ask that you be patient, and diligent. First dose appointments for those eligible are being added as supply is made available to us. Please visit the state’s COVID-19 vaccine website for eligibility information and appointment availability.
Scheduling your second vaccine dose appointment
Those who receive their first vaccine dose at a Northwell vaccination site* can schedule a second dose appointment through any of the following methods:
- On site directly after receiving your first dose of the vaccine
- By calling the Northwell COVID vaccine hotline at (844) 919-VACC
*Northwell vaccination sites include: Bay Shore (Aletta Place), Belmont Park, Lake Success (Marcus Avenue), Lenox Hill Hospital, Long Island Ducks Stadium, Melville (S. Service Road), Northern Westchester Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center Entenmann Campus, Phelps Hospital, South Oaks Hospital, Syosset (Greenfield Road)
Phases of eligibility
The vaccine is being distributed to eligible members of the community in accordance with the New York State Department of Health’s phased distribution plan. We’re now vaccinating eligible people in Phase 1a and Phase 1b. This eligibility criteria is very specific—please check the New York state eligibility criteria before making your appointment.
