Zucker Hillside Hospital
The Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program (MMTP) provides voluntary, long-term pharmacological treatment and comprehensive interdisciplinary ancillary and support services to those struggling with opioid addiction. MMTP is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
Located in Glen Oaks, NY, we are an outpatient program on the grounds of Zucker Hillside Hospital. Our patients have access to the full array of programs and services available through Northwell’s inpatient and outpatient network.
Who we treat
We provide long-term pharmacological treatment to patients 18 years old or older who are addicted to opiates and who have had at least two prior drug treatment services. Patients with a chronic immune deficiency disorder and those who are pregnant will be admitted on a priority basis.
We offer the following services:
- Overdose Prevention Program
- Comprehensive assessments and referrals
- Psychiatric consultation
- Medication management
- Individual and group therapy
- Nursing services
- Medical services
- Vocational assessment and counseling
- Ancillary withdrawal program
Our interdisciplinary team is committed to providing individualized treatment with the goal of helping patients and families work toward an opioid-free life. We provide treatment in a safe environment that ensures that everyone is treated with respect and dignity in a confidential setting.
Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
Saturday, 7:45am – 9:45am
The clinical staff at MMTP is a team of experienced and caring professionals, including:
- Licensed and certified social workers
- Registered nurses
- Credentialed alcoholism and substance abuse counselors
- Credentialed vocational rehabilitation counselors
- A psychiatric nurse practitioner
Payment & insurance
The Methadone Maintenance Treatment Program accepts Medicaid. Sliding scale fees may be arranged. No one will be denied services due to an inability to pay.
