President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lawlor was named Huntington Hospital’s leader in 2005. He joined the hospital as chief financial officer in 1989, retaining that title and also assuming the position of executive vice president in 2001. In that capacity, he was responsible for the overall financial management of the hospital as well as numerous other administrative and operational responsibilities.
Prior to joining Huntington, Mr. Lawlor held financial management positions at Community Hospital of Western Suffolk, Brookhaven Memorial Hospital and the Episcopal Health System.
He is a fellow and former president of the New York chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He also served on the finance and executive committees of the Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council, and on the Healthcare Association of New York State’s (HANYS) Committee on Finance.
Mr. Lawlor earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at Hofstra University, and a master’s degree in public administration at Long Island University.
