Hena Siddiqui, MD, has dedicated her career to enhancing the life of elderly patients. As medical director of Broadlawn Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, a role she has served since 2000, Dr. Siddiqui oversees the delivery and quality of care at the 50-year-old facility.
Dr. Siddiqui specializes in post-acute, palliative and continuum of care of geriatric patients. Previously, she was the medical director of Broadlawn Health Partners/Health Partners of New York Health, a managed long-term care insurance plan, for several years. She was also medical director of Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
She also serves as clinical assistant professor of medicine at New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Siddiqui started her career in the Division of Geriatrics at Winthrop University Hospital. Later, she moved to Arizona and worked with a medical group that was a provider for Pacific Care. She also worked with a hospitalist group, serving as a hospitalist and coordinating post-acute care in several facilities.
Dr. Siddiqui is a member of the Executive Leadership Committee at The Long Island Home. She graduated from Spartan Health Science University, West Indies, and completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in geriatrics at Winthrop. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine Geriatrics.
