Organizational Senior Executive Coach
Chantal Weinhold is senior vice president and organizational senior executive coach at Northwell Health, where she works closely with Human Resources leadership to identify opportunities to enhance leadership development and performance optimization through focused mentoring and/or coaching. Applying an industry-recognized approach to coaching, Ms. Weinhold helps Northwell’s executives to achieve specific goals that enable them to grow professionally as well as better manage ongoing changes brought by the health system’s growth and expansion.
Previously, Ms. Weinhold served as senior vice president and regional executive director of Northwell’s Central Region, which includes North Shore University Hospital, Long Island Jewish (LIJ) Medical Center, Cohen Children’s Medical Center, LIJ Forest Hills, LIJ Valley Stream and Zucker Hillside Hospital. As regional executive director she was responsible for strategic, financial and operational oversight of the region which involved program development, the integration of clinical programs into regionally recognized Clinical Centers of Excellence, alignment of capital projects with Northwell’s organizational strategy, as well as enhancing operational leadership and physician and community relationships.
Prior to the Central Region, Ms. Weinhold was executive director of several Northwell facilities, including LIJ Medical Center, Cohen Children’s and Zucker Hillside. In addition, she was corporate compliance officer, overseeing the ongoing development, implementation and monitoring of the corporate compliance program, as well as compliance-related activities across Northwell’s hospitals, facilities and business entities.
Ms. Weinhold began her career as a research technician in the department of psychology at Stony Brook University. She came to Hillside Hospital in 1980 as a research coordinator, and later held a number of positions at Northwell hospitals. Ms. Weinhold also served as assistant vice president of ambulatory care services at Beth Israel Medical Center's Phillips Ambulatory Care Center.
Ms. Weinhold received bachelor’s degree from Chatham College and has a certificate in quantitative studies and a master’s in health services administration from the New School for Social Research.
