Catherine Hottendorf is responsible for overall operations at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream.

Prior to becoming executive director, she was associate executive director of patient care services at Southside Hospital. In that position she had oversight of the nursing and physical therapy departments as well as all regulatory reviews and The Joint Commission survey process. She previously served as associate executive director of patient care services at Valley Stream.

Prior to joining Northwell Health in 2002, Ms. Hottendorf was director of finance for OR services, Continuum Health System, and director of managed care, Generations+ /Northern Manhattan Network, New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation. She worked at Nassau University Medical Center and A. Holly Patterson Geriatric Center for more than 20 years, holding positions of increasing responsibility, culminating in her serving as assistant executive director.

Ms. Hottendorf received a BSN and a master's in community health from Long Island University, and earned an MBA in management from Adelphi University.
