New Children's Emergency Room Coming to Staten Island’s South Shore

Emergency Children’s Help Organization (ECHO) is changing the face of healthcare on Staten Island’s South Shore. The children’s charity earmarked $500,000 towards the construction of a dedicated children’s emergency room at Staten Island University Hospital’s, South Site. The $1.5 million project will provide care to nearly 3,000 children treated at that site each year, in one of the fastest growing communities in New York. For their efforts, ECHO was honored as NY1’s, Staten Islander’s of the Week.
