Man Who Had 100 Seizures a Day Gets Life Back

Bob Hillman is foggy on the last two years of his life. He often had 100-plus siezures a day and struggled to find a proper diagnosis, until he met Dr. Souhel Najjar, of Lenox Hill Hospital. He diagnosed Bob with autoimmune epilepsy, a rare form of the disease in which the autoimmune system (through an antibody called voltage-gated potassium channel antibody) attacks a part of the brain.
