Dana’s Story: A Patient Reunites With The Doctors Who Changed Her Life

In 2012 Dana Feldman was rushed to the ER at Long Island Jewish Valley Stream Hospital after her dog bit part of her ear off. She underwent surgery, and 50 treatments in the hyperbaric chamber to save her ear. A few weeks ago Dana returned to the hospital after four years to see the doctors who cared for her. She told them, that they inspired her to pursue a career in the medical profession. Because of their care, Dana is going to study to become a Physician’s Assistant in the fall of this year.
