Low-dose aspirin may protect women from the most common type of breast cancer, a new study suggests. For women who took low-dose aspirin three times a week, breast cancer risk was reduced by 20 percent, says Dr. Teo Mendez of Lenox Hill Hospital. Lowering both inflammation and estrogen may be the key in this preventative measure.
