CDC report links suicide rates in teen girls to smartphone usage

Spending too much time on a smart phone can increase suicide contemplation in your teen, according to a report by the Centers for Disease Control. Teen girl suicide rates spiked 65 percent from 2010 to 2015, which the experts point out is around the same time smartphones became prevelant. Dr. Keri Peterson, internist at Lenox Hill Hospital, explains the correlation and how long is too long for a teen to use their smartphone.
