Bone Marrow Donor and Recipient Meet for First Time

Oscar Romero of Brentwood, NY is now free of Aplastic Anemia, thanks to a life-saving bone marrow transplant he received from Army Lieutenant Ryan Waldorf of Great Neck, NY. The two met for the first time on May 21 at the 11th Annual Celebration of Life Dinner of North Shore University Hospital’s Don Monti Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplantation Program.
