Adolescent Unit

Our Child and Adolescent Psychiatry programs provide comprehensive evidence based evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents with emotional disturbances. Support and psychoeducation are provided to families and others involved in the child’s care. The Adolescent Unit treats patients 13-17 years of age whose problems required more intensive treatment than can be provided on an outpatient basis. Services in this 21-bed unit include comprehensive assessment and brief treatment for a variety of psychiatric disorders including: Anxiety Disorders, AD/HD and other disruptive behavior disorders, Major Depression and Bipolar and Psychotic Disorders.
