9/11 Focus Is on Remembering, Seeing What Has Changed

Kenneth Solosky was a lieutenant in the New York City Police Department on Sept. 11, 2001, serving as the chief pilot in the aviation unit that flew helicopters for the NYPD. “It was one of the craziest days of my life,” Mr. Solosky, now the director of security at Lenox Hill Hospital, says, recalling the confusion and pandemonium of the day two hijacked planes flew into the World Trade Center. “It was a life-changing event for everyone involved.”
