Northwell Spotlights Alzheimer’s with Education Program

Northwell Health's Alzheimer’s disease education program included Ron Duguay, hockey analyst, and writer Arthur Levine.

An Alzheimer’s disease education program at Northwell Health’s corporate headquarters in New Hyde Park on Tuesday drew 175 people and featured presentations by Northwell physicians specializing in Alzheimer’s care, as well as researchers from The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research.

The conference also included remarks by Ron Duguay, former New York Ranger and Emmy Award-winning hockey analyst at the MSG Network, and writer Arthur Levine, author of What a Beautiful Morning, which illustrates a child coping with his grandfather’s forgetfulness.

The event kicked off Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month.
