Northwell Health is going back to school on February 10 to teach students at Bay Shore High School about careers in health care.
Both clinical and non-clinical employees from Northwell will fill 40 tables in the school’s gymnasium. They will explain to students what they do at New York State’s largest health care system and how to pursue a career with Northwell.
There will be presentations about careers in medicine, nursing, science and nutrition, becoming a physician’s assistant, working in health care public relations and marketing, finance, healthy lifestyle decisions, plus tips for landing a job.
The presentations begin at 7 a.m and will go throughout the school day until 2 p.m.
