David Purow, MD, has been appointed the chairman of medicine at Huntington Hospital.
Dr. Purow was previously the chief of internal medicine at the hospital. He has been an attending physician at Huntington Hospital since 2003.
“Between Dr. Purow’s expertise in internal medicine and past experience at Huntington Hospital, we’re excited and confident he’ll provide excellent medical leadership for us,” said Gerard Brogan, MD, executive director of Huntington Hospital.
Dr. Purow is a graduate of Duke University’s School of Medicine and completed his residency and his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Columbia New York Presbyterian Hospital.
