Northwell Health Aspire 10K

About 625 runners competed April 2 in the Greater Long Island Road Runners Club-Northwell Health Aspire 10K Run in Plainview. Proceeds from the race benefited the Neuroscience Institute at Northwell Health, formerly North Shore-LIJ Health System.  Yuji Wakimoto of Port Jefferson Station, the winner of the 6.2-mile race in a time of 32:24, is congratulated by race director Karen Schackner of Dix Hills, left, and Nassau County Legislator Judy Jacobs, who also serves as director of community relations at Northwell Health.
