New York, NY – John Boockvar, MD, director of the Brain Tumor Center at Lenox Hill Hospital (LHH) and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (MEETH), part of Northwell Health, has been elected as a member of the American Academy of Neurological Surgery (AAcNS).
The AAcNS serves as a leading neurosurgical organization in North America focused on promoting, sponsoring and mentoring laboratory, translational, and clinical research in the neurological sciences.
As an AAcNS member, Dr. Boockvar will participate in scientific sessions and conferences given yearly by the academy. Dr. Boockvar, a world-renowned neurosurgeon, is known for his surgical expertise in primary and metastatic brain tumors, meningiomas, pituitary tumors, acoustic neuromas, spinal and peripheral nerve sheath tumors, skull base and endoscopic surgery, minimally invasive spinal surgery and complex spinal disorders.
