Huntington Hospital Auxiliary Donates More than $130,000 to the Hospital

HUNTINGTON, NY – The Huntington Hospital auxiliary recently donated more than $134,000 to the hospital.

The auxiliary raised these funds through numerous efforts throughout the year, including managing the gift shop and many lobby sales.  The Huntington Hospital auxiliary also provides much of the artwork seen in the Dolan Family Health Center and the hospital; its volunteers create Valentine’s Day cards for patients; and they decorate the lobby for the holidays. In addition, the group also sponsored two holes at the 2015 Huntington Hospital golf outing and donated badge holders to the hospital.

“We appreciate the auxiliary’s great efforts to help the hospital and raise money for it,” said Gerard Brogan, Jr., MD, executive director of the hospital. “They have been a significant resource and support of our hospital throughout our 100 year existence. Huntington Hospital would not be where it is today without them.”
